Product Description

Refill Kit Contents:

The Refill Kit contains three additional bottles that are used in conjunction with the recorder included with the Rex Starter Kit.

The Product:

Rex - The Talking Medication Bottle allows the person to hear recorded prescription label information or other important, easy to understand directions. The recorded message is easily played back by pressing and holding a button on the base of the bottle. Rex benefits not only those who are visually impaired, but also those with cognitive disorders or reading difficulties. Fitted with a safety cap, Rex - The Talking Medication Bottle is completely disposable when the medication is completed, avoiding cross contamination possibilities. Each bottle is powered by a battery with a life of about six months, encased in the base of the bottle.

To properly record instructions into Rex – The Talking Medication Bottle, a Rex Starter Kit must be purchased. To purchase a Rex Starter Kit, click here.

How It Works:

Microelectronic technology is set into the base of each bottle. A special bottle recorder with a microphone allows the person to record medication use information directly into the bottle. The “built-into-the-bottle” technology permits only someone with a recorder to record or change the prescription information. The instructions may be heard by using a button located on the side of the bottle near the base.

The benefits of Rex - The Talking Medication Bottle include:

One button easy – just press and hold to play message.

Playback and record functions are built into each bottle – no additional playback hardware required.

No additional equipment required for use. The bottle is completely self-contained!

Completely disposable – no cross-contamination concerns!

Users enjoy increased confidence in their ability to manage their medications
